Field Trip Dates & Locations for 2003!!!
(We have joined ranks with Neil Reider of the Brukner Club of Troy, Ohio, and have combined our field trips.)
February
22nd We
will visit the Orton Geological Museum, at The Ohio
State
University. We will tour the geology
laboratories and then dine at Der Dutchman
Restaurant,
Plain City, Ohio.
March 22nd
We will visit the Ohio Earthquake Center. At Alum Creek State Park,
Delaware, Ohio. Then we dine at the Little Brown Jug
Restaurant also in Delaware.
April
12th We are going to collect pyrite at Duff's Quarry in Huntsville,
Ohio.
May 17th
We will visit the Diamond Cellar in Columbus, Ohio.
We will dine at the La Scala Restaurant in Dublin, Ohio.
June
21st We
are going to the June Headley-Whitney Museum and
Kentucky Horse Park. This
is a bus tour to Lexington Kentucky.
September 20th We will collect fossils at Waynesville, Ohio. .
October 11th We will visit the Glass Re Factory in Georgetown, Ohio.
